In an extraordinary celebration of business, science, design, and love, Amanda Koo, the visionary Founder and Director of eClarity, hosted a diamond track during the first-ever regional in-person event for fellow YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) members. Inviting YPO leaders from diverse countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Indonesia, the event was a captivating display of beauty, knowledge, and camaraderie.
The Diamond Story Unfolded: Lab-Grown vs. Natural Diamonds
At the heart of the diamond track, Amanda shared her remarkable journey in the diamond industry, along with the challenges she encountered along the way. Her resilience and determination were evident as she eloquently spoke about how these trials had only made her and her team stronger. Amanda emphasized that the diamond business isn't just about luxury and opulence; it's also about the science behind these precious gems, the intricacies of their design, and, most importantly, the love and emotional significance they hold for people.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of a breathtaking 3.1 carat fancy intense pink diamond worth a staggering 11 million dollars, among other remarkable stones. As a testament to her commitment to craftsmanship, Amanda invited a revered "shifu" or master craftsman from Hong Kong to demonstrate the delicate art of mounting a diamond.
To elevate the experience further, Master Guo performed a live stone-mounting session. The mesmerizing artistry of stone setting was unveiled as the skilled artisan showcased his craft, bringing life to diamonds and precious metals. The YPO members were captivated, witnessing the transformation of raw materials into exquisite jewelry pieces.
DIY Engraving Session and Exclusive Gift
But the festivities did not end there. Amanda and her team had prepared a series of interesting activities for the esteemed YPO members to partake in. The first of these activities was a DIY Engraving Session, where each YPO member received an exclusive free gift – a stunning 20 Carat Rose Gold Plated Diamond Pen. They were given the chance to personalize these pens by engraving names or heartfelt messages for their loved ones, making the gift even more precious and meaningful.
Private Diamond Viewing: A Kaleidoscope of Brilliance
The second activity was a Private Diamond Viewing, where an exquisite selection of fancy-shaped stones, various colored diamonds, and diamonds of different carat sizes were showcased.
